Hello Interwebs! Action-filled entertainment ranks among my favourite types of entertainment to watch. Whether it be in film, television, or online shorts, the best action instills a vicarious adrenaline in its audience. But most action scenes don't do that. In fact-- most action scenes suck. Read on to discover why... Hello Interwebs! Science fiction and fantasy are two popular genres of entertainment which fanbases of each frequently compare and contrast. And said fans can be incredibly passionate about which they prefer! I've always been a sci-fi guy myself, hence this week's warm take: science fiction is a superior genre to fantasy. For all you fantasy lovers out there, don't worry. I'm not here to bash on your genre. I'm just here to argue why it's not as good as my favourite... Consider the gauntlet dropped. Hello Interwebs! Hello Interwebs! I like TV better than movies. That might seem a bit weird to say, considering I'm a filmmaker, but I make no apologies. Don't get me wrong: I love the theatrical experience, and a good movie is hard to beat, but I believe Television/ Streamed shows to be the superior storytelling format. Maybe you agree with me, or maybe you don't, but read on and at least hear me out..
Hello interwebs! Welcome to the first article in a series I'm calling “Warm Takes”. I'm a man with strong opinions on movies/ entertainment. Though most of my opinions aren't what I'd consider “hot takes”, they are often unconventional, hence the moniker of “warm”. Today I explain why Captain America: The First Avenger is not only my favourite Captain America film but my favourite MCU film as well. And don't try to argue with me in the comments. I can do this all day.
